She was a homemaker, a member of King Solomon Christian Church, the church choir and an usher, and former employee of Whirlpool. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at King Solomon Christian Church with burial at Latimer Cemetery in Roland under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She is survived by her husband, Melvin; two stepchildren, LaToya and Brandon Fields; stepmother, Cecila Lee; six sisters, Phyllis Bell, Bessie Hayes, Brenda Surrell, Marilyn Reese, Donna Waterbury and Dorothea Cherry, all of Fort Smith; four brothers, Herbert Lee Jr., Bobby, Jerry and Stanley Lee, all of Fort Smith; two stepsisters, Clara Shade and Patsy Flake; and five stepbrothers, William, Rueben, Robert, Charles Flake and the Rev. Jackie Flake, all of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Tyrone and Terrell Carey, Kenneth Massey, Dave and Theodore Dotson and Andre Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers.
