UTICA - Lucille C. Hennington died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 79.

Born in Claiborne County, Mrs. Hennington had been a Utica resident for the past 42 years. She was employed in the Parts Department at Magna America Co. She was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Bessie Curtis.

She is survived by her husband, George C. Hennington of Utica; three sons, George Hennington of Vicksburg, Kenneth Hennington of Utica and Thomas Hennington of New Orleans; one daughter, Joyce M. Jimenez of Raymond; one brother, Bob Curtis of Utica; three sisters, Mildred Boyd of Utica, Lillie Crow of Vicksburg and Ruby Smith of Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Utica Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home in Utica.
