MISS NETTIE G. KASPER, 83, of 615 East 10th St. died at Hershey Convalescent Home today. The body was taken to the Riley Funeral Home where friends may start calling Friday morning. Services are set for Saturday at St. Mathias church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. A daughter of Frank W. and Sophia Reinhard Kasper, she was born Nov. 1, 1883 in Muscatine and spent her entire life here. She never married. Miss Kasper retired in 1936 from the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. after 25 years in the traffic department at the Muscatine exchange. She was a member of St. Mathias church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Surviving are four nephews, Hershel and Clarence Harper, both of Muscatine, Delmer Kasper of Muscatine and Kenneth Schoo of Davenport; and four nieces, Clara, Lillie and Anna Hess, all of Davenport, Dorothy Carlson of Redwood, Calif., and Brigetta Dunker of Muscatine. Her parents, five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.----------- Rev. Thomas R. Doyle celebrated a Requiem High Mass Saturday at St. Mathias church for Miss Nettie Kasper, 83. Also present in the sanctuary were the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.J. Welsh and the Rev. Joseph Sparks. Altar boys were Bob Salek, Ricky Brecht, Joe Rauch, Mike Crahan, and Andy McElwee. Pallbearers were Lenz W. Lorber, Grant Zetler, K.J. O'Keefe, William F. Kook, William L. Cook, and Harold E. Peters. Burial was at St. Mary's cemetery under the direction of the Riley Funeral Home.
