Mrs. Mary B. Wiltgen 85, of 1810 E. St. Two Rivers for years a leader of the Gold Star Reporters group, associated with the Auxiliary of the Eleven Gold Star Post 1248 Veterans of Foreign Wars, died early Monday.
Funeral Services will be Thursday at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Wiltgen, nee Mary Gates was born in the town of Two Rivers, July 4, 1887, daughter of the late Peter & Josephine Monka Gates. In 1905 she was married at Two Rivers to Jacob Wiltgen, who died 2 years ago.
She was a member of Robert E. Burns Post 165 American Legion Auxiliary,Gold Star mothers, and the VRW Auziliary. She was also active in earlier years in the Two Rivers Senior Citizens.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Tony (Evelyn) Sebanz & Mrs. Francis (Beatrice) Babler of Two Rivers, a son James of 2 Rivers, 2 sisters Mrs. Clarence LaQue of Manitowoc and Mrs. Carl Hollenbeck of Kenosha; 2 brothers, Louis & Peter of Two Rivers, 8 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren. Two sons Chester & Floyd preceded her in death.
