Service for John L. "Les" Fullmer, 85, of LeClaire will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel Foursquare Church, LeClaire. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, LeClaire. Mr. Fullmer died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at his home. He owned and operated Les Fullmer Plumbing Heating and Pump Service for many years. he also had worked for several years as a machine operator at Farmall, Rock Island, and the Rock Island Arsenal and as a plumber at Haessler's Hardware, LeClaire.
Mr. Fullmer was born June 10, 1913, in rural Princeton. He married Virginia McCauley in 1934 in Davenport. She died in 1981. He married hazel Rummerfield in 1983 in LeClaire.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Chapel Foursquare Church.
Survivors include his wife, daughters, Theresa Alvarez, Pekin, Ill., and Ellen Council, Bettendorf; stepdaughters, Fran Fox and Donna Puffenberger, both of Kirksville, Mo., and Doris Smith, Princeton; sons, John Fullmer, Milan, Ill., Daniel, James, Pichard, Mike, Bob, Russell and Wilford Fullmer, all of LeClaire, and Jeff Fullmer, Camanche; and stepson, Douglas Rummerfield, Kirksville, 62 grandchildren; 101 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
