Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Starr Evangelical Church in Forest County for Mrs. Emma L. Confer, aged 55, who died in the Warren General Hospital Saturday following a long illness. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Confer was a daughter of the late Henry and Dorcas Zuendel, of Tionesta, and was born May 28, 1884.

She was married to Fred H. Confer in 1905 and they were parents of seven children, three of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Clarence Payne, Marienville; Mrs. Russell Kiffer, of West Hickory, and Roy, at home.

Another son, Henry, was killed in a fall at the Tionesta dam project in September.

Two sisters, Mrs. Anna Littlefield, of Endeavor, Mrs. Marian Bean, also survive.
