Annie Lee Bauer Ferguson Willingham, age 87, of Jade Road Toney, AL, died Friday, January 22, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00P.M. on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Ardmore Chapel with Rev. Tony Boyles officiating and interment in Gatlin Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.

She was born Saturday, September 16, 1922 near Athens, Alabama to Frederick Aron Bauer & Emma Boeswetter Bauer. She lived all her life in this area and was a member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church where in past years she had been very active.

She was a member of the Oak Grove Homemakers club. She was a columnist for the Athens News Courier and the Ardmore Shopper for over forty years writing her Wooley Springs News.

She worked as a Poll worker in elections for many years and volunteered as a senior citizen bus driver. She is preceded in death by her husbands: R L Ferguson and Rev. George Taylor Willingham. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made to The Oak Grove Homemakers Club,26190 Beulah Road, Elkmont, Alabama 35620 or to The Alabama Baptist Children's Home, 2681 Rocky Ridge Lane, Birmingham, AL 35216-4809.

Survivors include two sons: Robert Lee Ferguson and Ray Ferguson both of Toney, Alabama. A daughter and son in law Anita and Calvin Faulkner of Toney, Alabama. A brother: Carl Bauer of Ardmore, Alabama, and three sisters: Cora Patterson of Elkmont, Alma Williams of Athens, and Jeanette Davis of Elkmont. Three Grandchildren: Stacy Faulkner, Leigh Ann Bradley, and Karla Williamson, Six Great Grandchildren: Emily & Kelsey Faulkner, Jordan & Case Bradley, and MaeLee & Avery Williamson.
