Famous & very prolific pulp writer. His serial, "Free Lances in Diplomacy" ran in "Blue Book Magazine" since 1909. It was called the longest novel in the world. (Article on his death: "New York Times", January 10, 1933 - Books Section, Page 24) A portion of these stories were collected into the book, "The Unseen Hand: Stories of Diplomatic Adventure", 1918.

He also used the pen-names, "Stephen Hopkins Orcutt" & "Culpeper Zandtt" for many of his other magazine stories.

Buried on January 11, 1933.

He died at home, 1 Parkside Court.
