Geraldine Tucker Godwin, was the daughter of the late Benjamin Ashburn and America Jane Barwick Tucker. She was married to Lawrence Godwin who preceded her in death. Mrs. Godwin was a machine operator and supervisor for Coats America and on a Bowling Team.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sherry, sister, Urbie, grandchildren, Tina (Scott), Mikie (Pamela), Derek (Hallie), Bo (Wendy), Rick (Samantha), Missy (David), Jack, Amy and Venice, and 17 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Ann Godwin Harrell, son, Jackie Godwin, grandson, Tony Harrell, brothers, Thurmon Tucker, Preston Tucker, Oliver Tucker, Odell Key and sister, Lessie Pollock Bentley.
