She was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of the late Albert and Marie Loecke Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Maurice C. Mack; a son, Kent M. Mack; a daughter, Dolores V. Mack; and all of her siblings.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol M. Atkins of the home; two granddaughters, Deborah Whatley and husband James of Austin, Texas, and Kerrie Washburn and husband Ken of Altedena, California; two grandsons, Morris E. Atkins, Jr. and Paul C. Atkins, Sr. and wife Karen, both of Wilmington; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2003, in Oleander Memorial Gardens by The Rev. John C. Misenheimer and The Rev. Mark Opgrand. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.
