Memphis Services For L.G. Welch

MEMPHIS, Dec. 26 (Special) - Funeral services for L.G. Welch were held at 2:30 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here.

Mr. Welch, injured in an auto accident near here on Dec. 7, died Sunday morning in a Memphis hospital.

Survivors include five daughters, Miss Pauline Welch of Abilene, Mrs. Catherine Yeary of Lubbock, Mrs. Monty Lynch of Amarillo, Mrs. Sue Ritchey of Amarillo and Miss Bobbie Joe Welch of Memphis; three sons, Gene Welch of Clarendon, Lester Welch Jr., of Memphis, and Bud Welch of the U.S. Army at Fort Ord, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Homer of West; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Hill of Colorado City, Colo., Mrs. Mammie Valentine of Houston and Mrs. Ida Stevens of California.
