Charles S. Garrison, 71, of Silver Spring, died Monday, December 6, 1993 at Manor Care, Wheaton, Md. He was born August 3, 1922 in Hawley, Pa. He was a supervisor for the U.S Governments War Department and Patent Office with 33 years of service. He was a graduate of Bridgetow High School, Bridgetow, N.J. He was a member of the Kensington Baptist Church, treasurer of Leisure World Republican Club, active in Leisure World Kiwanis Club and the Fun & Fancy Club.

He is survived by his brothers, Walter C., Millville, N.J., William Lloyd, Waverly, N.Y., Wendell P., Nichols, N.Y his sisters, Grace Smith, Tioga Center, N.Y., Florence Evans, Joplin, Miss., Helaine Chance, Dividing Creek, N.J., Naomi Cole, Waverly, N. Y.; sisters-in-law, Harriet McDuffee, Rockville, Md., Nancy Sansone, Harpers Ferry, W. Va.

The funeral service will be held at the Kensington Baptist Church, Kensington, Md. Friday, December 10, 1993 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be at the Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Ave., Silver Spring, Md., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, Md.
