Alicia M. Hoerter, 82, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Hurtstbourne Care Center. She was born Alicia Mahoney in Bedford, NY. She was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy and the University of Louisville and a member of St. Brigid parish. Survivors include two daughters, Veronica York and M. A. Allgeier; two sons, Joseph Hoerter and Robert Hoerter of Bloomfield, IN; and 10 grandchildren, John, Rachel, Doc, Jesse, Joseph, Christopher, Jacob, Patrick, Michael and Sam and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, Sean and "the Acorn." Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at her church, 1520 Hepburn Ave., with burial in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Memorial gifts may be made to Mount St. Joseph Center, Maple Mount, Ky. 42356.
