Martha Helen Collins, 57, of 1721 Southeast Dr, died at 7;10 P.M. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after a illness. Mrs. Collins was born June 25, 1929, in Anderson, Ind. and had lived in South Bend for 30 years, coming from Anderson. On May 9, 1949, in Anderson, she married Newell P. Collins, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nancy Collins at home and Peggy Leonard of South Bend; two sons, Richard of New Carlisle and Donald of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ruth Kirk of Middletown, Ind. a brother, Eddie Rockwell of Anderson, Ind. and her Mother, Mary Gaul of Fortville, Ind.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. She was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Spartan Department Store.
