Charles H. Webb, of the Avoca neighborhood, who had been in a serious condition since the death of his wife two months ago, passed away at 12:15 a.m. today at his home. He was born in Martin County July 8, 1858, and at his passing was 73 years, 3 months and 29 days of age. In his early manhood he was married to Miss Mary Humphries in Martin county. They had lived in this county near Avoca for many years and were among the most highly respected people of their community. His is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Herber Marsh, four sons and two brothers, James Webb of Indianapolis and David Webb of California. He was a member of the Hill Top Church near Avoca.
