Mr. Haak was born Nov. 20, 1908 in Waller County, Texas and passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 31, 1991 at his residence.
Mr. Haak had been a resident of Angelina County for the past 33 years. He had retired from Civil Service as a U.S. Naval instrument maker. Mr. Haak was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1282 of Corpus Christi and was a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors:
* five sons: Charles Haak of Houston, Raymond Haak of Alvin, Charles Henry Haak, Jr. of Algoa, Texas, John Wesley Haak of Joaquin and Martin Luther Haak of Pollok
* step-son, Bobby Dennis of Lufkin
* two daughters, Mary Ellen Lunsford of Pollok and Debbie Ann Hood of Pollok
* brother, Henry Haak of Waco
* 11 grandchildren
* 2 great-grandchildren
