Former Syracuse area resident Burdett Richard Ladd, 95, died Wednesday at his home in Lincolnton, N.C.
A native of Clay, Mr. Ladd lived in North Carolina 14 years. He was the widower of Maud L. Ladd. Mr. Ladd was a Navy veteran of World War I.
Surviving are two daughters, Maud Walden of Pickens, S.C., and Burdetta Trotta of Lincolnton; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Maurer Funeral Home, Moyers Corners, the Rev. Dorren Brown officiating. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
