LOVE -- Richard W., 87 of Tulsa, died Saturday, May 19, 2001. Retired Petroleum Engineer. Retired from Texaco after 42 years. Graduate of Missouri School of Mines in 1939 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Member of Tulsa Country Club. 32nd Degree Mason. Richard loved to play golf and was an avid fan of ORU Basketball. Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Corps of Engineers.
Surviving family members: Wife, Eloise; sons, Charles R. Love of Dallas, TX and Larry L. Love of Houston, TX; daughter, Jan Tipton of Tulsa; stepchildren, Nancy Bishop of Basin, WY and John Bishop of Tulsa; sisters, Ruth Gaskins of Pahrump, NV and Eva Cottingham of Rolla, MO; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by first wife, Dorothy K. Love.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2001, 11 a.m., at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E. 91st St. S., 291-3500. Interment, Wednesday, May 23, 2001, 11 a.m. in the Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rolla, MO.
