Fifty-two friends staged, a fare-
well surprise last evening in honor
of Mrs. Holger Christensen of
near the city at the Christensen
home. The guests brought bas-
kets of refreshments and enjoyed
a pleasant social evening.
Mrs. Christensen leaves Wednes-
day of next week for New York,
from where she will sail on a visit
to Denmark.

Anna Marie Petrea Hansen was born 29 February 1892 in Norre Sundby, Aalborg Co., Denmark. She died in Ontario, California, San Bernardino Co., Calif. on 31 March 1960.
Father was Jens Kristian Hansen and mother was Louise F. Pederson. Anna married Holger Christensen on July 8th, 1910 at 1209 Poplar St., Atlantic, Iowa.
She arrived aboard the ship SS Mauretania from Liverpool, England on Nov. 20, 1909, arrived in New York on Nov. 26, 1909. Her passage was paid by H. Christensen(Holger). She arrived with $25.00. This information comes from the ship manifest at the Ellis Island Internet site and was researched by her grandson, Larry Nelson.
