HARRISBURG, Or., May 29—Mrs. Ann Alford, 70, died at her home here Tuesday night [May 27]. She had lived alone since the death of her husband, John R. Alford in 1914. The last of her three children died in 1907.
She was born in Sheridan county, Mo., and crossed the plains with her parents, whose name was Scrivener, in the 50s. Her marriage to Mr. Alford was in 1880.
