Tuesday services will be held at Scott's Funeral Chapel for Frank Corey Fox, 81 who passed away in McMinnville Saturday April 12, 1958.
Born Feb. 12, 1877 in Coshocton County Ohio, the son of George and Elizabeth Fox, he received his education in Ohio and was united in marriage to Ella Mabel DeLong in Newcomerstown, Ohio in 1899. To this marriage was born nine children. In 1907 the family moved to South Dakota, where Mrs. Fox preceded him in death in 1938.
In 1939 he moved to McMinnville and in 1943 was married to Emma Louise Stroup.
Survivors include: Mrs. Fox; McMinnville; seven daughters, Ethel Ollerman, New Mexico, Vivian Wiles, Eugene OR, Effie Phillips and Aneleh Williams, Sioux Falls, SD, Elmyra Vangorkom, George, IA, Fern Andrew, Sioux City, IA and Alice Varuska, Platt SD; two sons, Ralph, Portland OR and George, Salt Lake City, UT; three step-children, Wayne Stroup, McMinnville, Neil Stroup, Portland OR and Mary Altman, Portland OR; 26 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren; one sister, Ella Mostrom of Iowa and one brother Ralph Kelly Fox of Ohio.
Services will be conducted at 2pm at the Scott's chapel with the interment at Masonic cemetery.
