James H. Hardesty, 31, of Fairdale, died Monday at his home. He was a native of Bullitt County and a Catholic. Survivors: his wife the former Leeanna Cook; his parents, John H. and Georgia Hardesty of Shepherdsville; eight sisters, Gail Martin, Sandy Bennington, Dana Fox, Terry Gardener, and Karen Hardesty, all of Shepherdsville, Sherry Carey and Denise Hall, both of Mount Washington, and Glenda Lay of Okolona; and four brothers, Dennis Hardesty of Valley Station, Joe Hardesty of Maryville, Mark Hardesty of Shepherdsville and Gene Hardesty. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, Maraman Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, with burial in Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
