Funeral services for Daniel Beets, 61, who died Friday at 5 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Scruggs, 108 West New York avenue, will be conducted at Zion Baptist church, Anderson county, at 1 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. George Creswell will officiate. Burial will take place in the churchyard. Mr. Beets is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C.C. May, Mrs. G.C. Hammond and Mrs. Margaret Scruggs, also two sons, Millard Beets and Robert Beets, all of Knoxville, two sisters, Mrs. Crickett Yarnell, of this city and Miss Laura Beets of Clinton, Tenn., three brothers, W.S. Beets, J.D. Beets and B.B. Beets, all of Clinton.
