Lorene Newton was born a country girl. She found the Lord at a very young age and married young too. She married Raymond Newton. "Good Choice" Lorene loved reading her Bible and teaching Sunday School. She had a wonderful alto voice. When she was unable to have children, she fostered me and adopted a son. I stayed with her for many years until I married. She was a strict but loving mom. She loved to laugh. She put modesty next to faith. After the death of my son, she became sick and couldn't remember who I was. She would call me mama. That was so sad! I needed her. However, for many years before that, she was always there for me to give advice and be a good example. I loved my mom so much and many times wish I could talk to her. Lorene Newton...a wonderful mom and Christian.
