David D. Leary, 78, of West Chester, died on Thursday, June 29, 2006, at Lifecare Hospitals of Chester County, West Chester.
He was the husband of Anna Mae Leary.
He was born in West Chester and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He was employed by Conway Mechanical of West Chester.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, gardening, hunting and spending time with his beagle dogs.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his three children and their families, Jeanne Sharon and her husband, Bill of Thorndale and their children, Kathleen, Trish, and David Grubb, David C. Leary of Boynton Beach, Fla. and his daughter, Cait Leary,and Michael T. Leary of West Chester and his children, Jenna and Ryan Leary; and two brothers, William J. Leary and his wife, Jean, and V. John Leary and his wife, Virginia, all of West Chester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 3, at the Founds Funeral Home Inc., West Chester, 610- 696-0134, where family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
