Denver Lee O'Neal, 78, Johnson Edition, London, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
Born Sept. 10, 1931, in Rockcastle County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Bertha Mae Whittaker O'Neal.
He was a retired truck driver, U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Laurel Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loyd O'Neal, Virgil O'Neal, Floyd O'Neal and Glenn O'Neal; and a sister, Velma Onkst.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Carter O'Neal, of London; sons, Bobby O'Neal and wife, Tammy, of London, and Donald O'Neal and wife, Chris, of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters, Debbie Jean O'Neal, of Rushville, Ind., and Deborah Lynn Meyer and husband, Paul, of Eaton, Ohio; brother, Paul O'Neal and wife, Myrtle, of Winter Haven, Fla.; sister, Vickie Tyggle, of London; grandchildren, Brittany O'Neal, Jantzen O'Neal, Nikki Groover, Amy Johnson, Matthew Groover, Jamie Glandon, Abby O'Neal, Kelly O'Neal and Corey Jensen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Monday, Jan. 18, at London Funeral Home Chapel with Rowland Moore and Bobby Helton officiating.
Entombment will be in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Darren Tuggle, Dustin Tuggle, Jantzen O'Neal, Dwight Onkst, Tim Onkst and Corey Jensen.
