MRS. CHARLES RISE DIES IN BEAVERTON FRIDAY
Mrs. Charles T. Rise a resident of Tobacco township, for many years died at her home Friday, August 30.
The former Rosetta Patterson, she was born December 24, 1865, in Layfette, Ohio, and was married June 23, 1889.
Surviving are her husband and six children, Mrs. Bertha Crockett; Mrs. Ethel McMahon Thomas Rise and Ralph Rise, all of Beaverton, Fred Rise of Berkley, California, and Harold of Detroit.
Funeral service were held at the Church of the Brethren, Sunday at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. Perry Hoover officiated with burial in Dale Cemetery. Gladwin County Record, 11 September 1940 Page 1
