LICHTY, Leah (Mrs. Oliver) - Peacefully, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Chateau Gardens, Elmira, Leah (Martin) Lichty, in her 83rd year, formerly of Floradale. Beloved wife of the late Oliver Lichty (1991). Loving mother of Dorothy and Oscar Martin of Elmira, Lorene and Cleon Weber of RR 2, Allenford, Wilma and Paul Bauman of RR 2, Drayton. Fondly remembered by her 19 grandchildren and her 34 great- grandchildren. Sister of Magdalena Lichty, Almeda and Milford Martin, Ismael and Edna Martin, all of Elmira; sister-in-law of Erma Martin and Irene Martin. Predeceased by her parents, Ananias and Rebecca (Gingrich) Martin; five brothers, Elo, Urias, Edmund, Orlan and Almon and one sister, Velina Martin. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Wednesday, transfer will be made to Crystal View Mennonite Church, Floradale for funeral service at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. In her memory, donations to Christian Aid Ministries or Eagle Wings Ministries would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
