RICHEY, WILLIAM ROBERT, age 83, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2005. He was born in St. Clair County on March 14, 1921, and was a retired Ironworker from Local 92. Mr. Richey was a deacon and longtime faithful member of Eden Westside Baptist Church. He was a strong, loving and devoted husband, father, grand- father and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin and Vera Pauline Richey; two brothers, J.P. and Odell Richey; one sister, Verdell Davis; and two great grandchildren, Jere and Jason Henninger. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gussie V. Richey; son, Terry L. Richey of Pell City; daughter, Nelda (Thurman) Henninger of Cook Springs; daughter, Judy (Porter) Litty of Boaz; sisters, Juanita Macon and Betty Foster of Pell City; grandchildren, Thurman (Alecia) Henninger, IV, Richey (Joy) Henninger, Scott (Kelley) Litty, Shannon (Brooks) Spruiell, Chris Richey, Jessica (Cory) Ramsey; great grandchildren, Quint, Blake, Shelby and Baylee Henninger, Ashley and Austin Henninger, Jasmine Ramsey and Addie Spruiell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City, with Rev. Jacky Connell and Bro. Bill Ayres officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City, is directing.
