DAVID BUNCH, AGED PIONEER, SUCCUMBS
David Bunch, 88 years old, died suddenly early Wednesday morning. He had not been feeling well so his son, Lee Bunch, was sleeping in the room with him. At 1:30 o'clock the elderly Mr. Bunch called to ask the time and after looking at a watch which his son held out to him, he fell to breathing deeply and was dead within a few minutes. The body was taken to Schreiber and Davis chapel where rosary will be recited Thursday evening.
Mr. Bunch was born in Oakaloosa, Ill., in 1837 and came to Idaho in 1863. His son, David Bunch, was killed in a snow slide early this year and his grandson, Raymond Bunch, died two weeks ago. He is survived by a number of children, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The body will be taken to Garden Valley for burial Friday morning at 11 o'clock.
**** His and his son's name should be 'Davis' instead of 'David' as the paper states****
Daughter: Josephine R. Stapleton
Son: Robert Lee Bunch
