McGUFFEY - Mrs. Pearl Alderson, 57, wife of J. W. Alderson, McGuffey, died in a Toledo hospital at 9:30 a.m. Sunday after a three-week illness.
She was born in Kentucky and lived in McGuffey for 21 years. She was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas W. Jordan, Bradner; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Dollie Tyrie, Muncie, Ind., Mrs. J. K. Miles, Dayton, Mrs. Avonelle Fisher and Mrs. Virginia Downey, Ada; five brothers, Clyde Adams, Chillicothe, Curt and Eugene Adams, McGuffey, and Samuel, John and Robert Adams, all of Eaton Rapids, Mich.
The body will remain in the Hanson funeral home, Alger, for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. C. E. Bateson will officiate and burial will be in Preston cemetery.
