Murland Curtis Kennedy, 88, 220 Dearborn St., died Tuesday, March 29, 1988, in Tipton County Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1900, near Danville, a son of Elmer W. and Minnie (Keeney) Kennedy. On Oct. 31, 1936, he married Mabel Patterson, who survives. Mr. Kennedy was retired from Public Service Indiana and was a member of West Street Christian Church. A graduate of Lizton High School and Central Normal College, he was a member of Austin Masonic Lodge 128, Tipton Commandeer, Murat Shrine and the York Cross of Honor. Also surviving is a son, Wayne Kennedy of Stevensville, Mich. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday in Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home here. The Rev. Richard Hull will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary where Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m.
