MOULTON-Funeral for Uyless "Boots" Terry, 80, of Town Creek will be today at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Lavanul Sherrill officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Mr. Terry died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. He was born June 7, 1916, in Lawrence County. He was a retired painter and a member of Prayer Tabernacle. He was the father of the late Gaylon Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Lurdean Terry; six sons, Billy Terry of Leighton, Quindle Terry of Decatur, Kyle Terry of Moulton, Bradley Terry of Trinity and Bryan Terry and Barry Terry, both of Town Creek; three daughters, Faye Nell Jones of Courtland; Belinda Early of Town Creek and Donna Ward of Bradenton, Fla; one brother, James Terry of Trinity; four sisters, Christine Brown of Birmingham, Jessie Weems of Town Creek, Sabra Lou Hutto of Moulton and Lomeada Strickland of Hillsboro; 30 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
