Sarah Ann, widow of Levi Schwartz, died on Saturday evening, at her home at Hancock, Berks county, from the effects of paralysis which overcame her the day before. She had been well preserved and only slightly ill lately. She brought her age to 80 years and 12 days. Deceased was a daughter of the long-deceased George Weiler and his wife, the latter a daughter of Dewalt Schaeffer. Her husband preceded her in death nearly eleven years. Four sons and one daughter survive, Dr. Reuben, of Lebanon; Mrs. Mary Long, of Longsdale; Jonathan W., of Mertztown; George W. and Francis W. of Hancock. She leaves two brothers and four sisters, Amos Weiler, of Longswamp; Monoah S. Weiler, of Reading; Mrs. Aquila Knauss, of town; Mrs. J. P. Haas and Mrs. Thomas Will, of Reading; Mrs. Edwin Fegely, of Breinigsville. Deceased was a life-long member of the Reformed congregation of Longswamp Church. She had many excellent qualities, having been a good mother and friend, being charitable and kind of of most pleasant disposition. The funeral takes place from her late home tomorrow (Friday) forenoon, burial to be made at the Longswamp Church.
