Gwendoline May Driggs passed away on September 29, 2007 at Mercy Long Term Care in Centerville, Iowa at the age 82.

She was born on July 30, 1925 in Confidence, Iowa to Homer and Eva Frame. After graduating from Corydon High School, she attended Simpson College from 1943-1947, where Gwen earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. She subsequently taught music in the Moulton Iowa Public schools for two years. On August 10, 1947, she married William Robert(Bob)Driggs. Gwen gave piano lessons and was active in the Presbyterian Church where she served as organist for more than 50 years. She was also a member of P.E.O. Chapter D, and Music Ensemble Club.

She is survived by her three children, daughters Marcia Deck and Claudia Driggs, son Robert J. Driggs, son-in-law Warren Deck, daughter-in-law Glenda Davis-Driggs, grandsons Alan and Jon Driggs, and her twin sister, Bernadine Kells. Gwen was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother James Frame.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, October 5, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church in Centerville, Iowa with Jim Senior officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, with the family present from 5-7 pm that evening. A memorial has been established to the Gwendoline May Driggs Memorial Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
