Obituary: V. Frank Sinclair

Services for V. Frank Sinclair, 75, of Kilgore will be held Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore with Reverend Earl "Buddy" Duggins officiating. Burial will be held Monday at 2 P.M. in the Antioch Cemetery in Panola County. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore Sunday afternoon from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M.

Mr. Sinclair passed away Friday at his home in Kilgore following a lengthy illness. He was born April 10, 1934 in Panola County, son of the late Nuel and Minnie Hightower Sinclair.

Mr. Sinclair served in the United States Army and worked for GTE for 30 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church where he was in the Samp Dudley Sunday School Class and was on the Disaster Relief Team. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling, Kilgore High School Football, coffee and telling a good story. Frank loved his family, which included his wife of 50 years Helen - whom he referred to as "My Sweet Babe", his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his many friends. His family and friends will always remember his sense of humor and that he never met a stranger.

Mr. Sinclair is survived by his wife Helen Sinclair of Kilgore; children, Nita Welborn of Kilgore, Toni Thompson and husband Steve of McKinney and Scott Sinclair and wife Tammy of Liberty City; grandchildren, Brandon Welborn, Amber Maxwell, Austen Sinclair, Blane Sinclair, Jacob Sinclair, Rebekah Sinclair, Ryan and Ashley Thompson and Seth Thompson; great grandchildren, Bella Welborn, Chasidy Cedillo, Antonio Cedillo, Tayton Thompson and Bailey Thompson; sisters, Christine Stewart and Tommie Hull and husband Larry; brother, Jim Teal; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanda Davidson; brother, Jesse Sinclair.
