Brother of Mrs. Sallie Bassett of Moberly Died at Advanced Age Tuesday.
Word was received here this morning of the death of George Owenby [sic], of Middle Grove, which occurred yesterday. At the time of his death, Mr. Owenby [sic] was 73 years old.
Funeral services over the remains were held from the family home at 3 o'clock this afternoon and burial made in the adjoining cemetery.
The surviving kinfolks are two sons, George Owenby [sic], Jr., and John Owenby [sic], both of Middle Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Bassett and Mrs. Mary Hunter, both of Moberly.
Mr. Owenby [sic] was one of the best known residents of Monroe county and had hany [sic] friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
