Carolyn A. Owens, 75, of Underwood, Indiana died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born June 11, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William J. and Hazel (Russel) Donnoe.
Carolyn was married to Carleton L. "Buster" Owens, Sr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1995.
She was a reserve deputy for the Scott County Sheriff's Department in Scottsburg, Indiana and also a retired laborer for the old Stratton & Stertage Company in Clarksville, Indiana. She was also a member of the World Outreach for Christ in Scottsburg, Indiana.
Survivors include two sons: Carleton L. Owens, Jr. of Austin, Indiana & Russel D. Owens of Underwood, Indiana; two daughters: Margaret Ann Owens & Kayla Jo Walters both of Scottsburg, Indiana and a sister: Regina M. Cornelius of Underwood, Indiana. Carolyn is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter
