He married second at age 54 in Beaufort Co., NC, December 27, 1939, Mrs. Nettie V. Latham, age 42, of Blounts Creek, NC, daughter of Josephine Wilkinson and Mack Cox. Nettie married first at age 27 at Chocowinity, Beaufort Co., NC, April 19, 1925, Lester Latham, age 28; both were living in Blount's Creek, NC, at the time. Nettie was born in NC Jul 12, 1897; died in NC Feb 18, 1969.
Henry and Mattie had four children:
1. Cella Olivia Toler, b. 1904, d. 1983; m. 1928 Duval Glenn Holton
2. Pearl Lee Toler, b. 1907, d. 1973; m. 1st 1923 Viney Allen Thomas; m. 2nd (?) Jackson
3. Hoyt Wendell Toler, b. 1917, d. 1978
4. Harold Toler, b. NC ca 1926
