McGUFFEY, March 15 - I. T. Hunsicker, 84, retired farmer, died of influenza at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home in McGuffey after an illness of 10 days. He had farmed extensively in the vicinity of McGuffey for 46 years, retiring in 1932. Hunsicker, a member of the Modern Woodman lodge, was active in civic affairs of the community, serving in public offices several years.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Devinson of Ridgeway; three sons, Samuel of Dunkirk, George of McGuffey and Floyd of Tekonsha, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McGuffey Church of Christ, of which Hunsicker was a member, with Rev. O. E. Smith, of Rudolph, officiating. Burial will be in Alger cemetery. The body will lie in state at the McGuffey Church of Christ from noon Thursday until time of services.
