Funeral for Archie F. Davis will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Young's Funeral Home in Tigard, with private interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis died Friday in a Portland hospital. He was 84.
A native of Minneapolis, he moved to Oregon 80 years ago, lived in Portland for 33 years and had lived in Tigard for the past seven years. He was a retired brewer for the Blitz Weinhard Brewing Company.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Navy Post 101, Veterans of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes M. of Tigard; sons, John R. of Portland, Roland V. of San Antonio, Texas, and William Reilly of Lake Oswego, daughter, Patricia Reilly Stepleford of Saudi Arabia; sister, Bessie R. Combs of Portland; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family requests that remembrances be contributions to the Oregon Heart Association or the Oregon Diabetes Association.
