He was born November 7, 1946 in Angleton, Texas. Roger was a lifelong resident of Dayton, attending Dayton Schools.
He served during the Viet Nam in the US Army & was Prisoner of War. He worked for Brown & Root for many years and later as a crane operator. Roger loved his family and friends. He really enjoyed riding horses and participating in trail rides.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Bill & Katie Moreau; and his son: Roger Dale "Buffie" Anderson, Jr. Roger is survived by his brother: Donald Gale Moreau of Dayton; his sisters: Punkie Shanks and husband Randy of Dayton and Dee-Dee Little and husband Buzz of Bronson; also numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends especially Bobby Brockman.
