LLOYD EDWARD LITTRELL, 83, a resident Dallas died at his home Saturday, April 16, 2005. He was born in Stoutsville, Missouri on March 15, 1922 the son of James E. and Essie L. Scobee Littrell. He was raised in Mexico, Missouri and entered the Army during World War II. Upon his release from the military he went to work at the local brick plant. He gave that up and went to work for the National Automatic Sprinkler Industry Union #669, where he worked until his retirement in 1979. He married Charlene Marie Freeman on October 16, 1976 in Newberg. They traveled many years with his work to many parts of the country. He retired to Minnesota from 1979 until returning to McMinnville in 1983. In 1986, Monmouth became home. They moved to Dallas in December of 2004. He was a member of the Fox Hunters Association and raised hounds all of his life. He enjoyed whittling.

He is survived by his wife Charlene of Dallas, children Marylin Tedrow, Alma Swon, Donnis Littrell all of Mexico, Mo, Linda Stuart of Vandaila, MO, Brian Littrell of Portland, Edward Littrell of Carmichael, CA and Dennis Littrell along with nine step children, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Louella Patterson of Missouri, Lucille Black of California, Bessie Andrews of Missouri and Rita Nagal of Oregon. He was preceded in death by siblings Lorena Gross, James Littrell, Daniel Littrell and Milton Littrell.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Thursday in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, April 22nd in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Interment will follow in the Dallas Cemetery. To leave an on-line condolence for the family go to
