GRAND RIVERS, Ky. — Tony Peek, 74, of Grand Rivers died at 6:15 a.m. Friday at his home.

Mr. Peek was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War with the 141st Tank Battalion Armory Division. He was a retired chemical operator at B.F. Goodrich in Calvert City. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Lyon County and attended Corinth Baptist Church in Grand Rivers.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Duff Peek; one son, Eric Peek of Kuttawa; two daughters, Joan Dycus of Kuttawa and Tammy Brasher of Fredonia; three stepsons, Mitchell Brown of Paducah, and Dalton Watkins and Danny Watkins, both of Grand Rivers; three stepdaughters, Carolyn Chittenden of Russellville, Gayle Hammonds of Grand Rivers, and Brenda Harmon of Mayfield; three brothers, Gene Peek of Grand Rivers, and Marshall Peek and Gerald Peek, both of Kuttawa; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Sue Hamby Peek; one brother; and one granddaughter. His parents were Tomie Randolph "Bud" Peek and Eula Belle Dalton Peek Ross.

Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville with the Revs. Bryan Grigg and Lonnie Knight officiating. Burial was at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
