Mrs. Sara Martin Potter, 77, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013.
A native of Pamlico County, Sarah was a longtime member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, and was a cook at Britthaven of New Bern/Riverpoint Crest Nursing & Rehab Center.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Bridgeton Cemetery on Half Moon Road. Those wishing to offer words of hope and condolences may visit www.pollockbest.com.
Sarah is survived by her sons, L. Earl Potter, Jr. of Vanceboro and Donald Hopkins of New Bern; one brother, Phillip Martin of Olympia; three sisters, Rebecca Martin of New Bern, Linda Sawyer of Stonewall and Diane Locklear of Vanceboro; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
