WICK, Anna Geneva 89, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord Wednesday January 13, 2010. She was born March 8, 1920 in Lancaster, Kentucky the daughter of the late Clayton & Virgie (Fletcher) Anderson. She is survived by children Kay (Delbert) Brandt of Christiansburg, Ohio, Veda Jackson of Springfield, Michael (Nancy) Wick of St. Paris, Dallas-Joe (Deann) Wick of Urbana, Sue (William) Douglass of London, Daniel (Donna) Wick of Springfield, daughter-in-law, Lois Wick of Lebanon; dear friend, Margaret Shoemaker; a sister, Doris Smith of Crossville, Tennessee; twenty grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; sixteen great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Wick; son, James G. Wick, a sister, Mary Frances Leiter and a brother, Herbert Anderson. After raising her children and helping with many of her grandchildren. She worked for Byerman's Market for over 25 years. She was known by everyone there as Grandma. Anna Geneva lived for her family and loving what ever she could do to make them happy. She spent her whole life working hard to take care of others and will be remembered for her huge heart, giving ways and her wonderful cooking. Her door was opened to all. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday January 15, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Bernard Cook officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
