MRS. DORA LUTES, 63, BURIED IN RIPLEY
NAPOLEON, Ind., Nov. 19 - Mrs. Dora E. Lutes, 63, of Napoleon, was buried Saturday, Nov. 14, following her death three days before after a week's illness with pneumonia. Services were in the Methodist church here, with burial in the Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Lutes was the daughter of Thomas M. and Margaret J. Waters, and was born March 9, 1873, in Ripley county. On April 3, 1892, she was married to Robert Lutes near Otter Creek and he, with six children, survives. The children are Mrs. Ertie Sieber, of Ohio; Mrs. Helen Baker, of Zenas; Mrs. Alice Dean, Clyde Lutes, Beverly Lutes and Mrs. Doris Coleman, all of Napoleon. There are also 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
For thirteen years she taught a class in the Methodist Sunday school here, and at the time of her death was teacher of the Married Women's class.
