Mrs. Anna Wunderlich, 92, died July 10, 1973 in Hondo. A resident of Hondo, she moved here in 1946 from Fredericksburg.
Born November 3, 1880 to William Pietsch and Helena Oltman, both deceased, she married Otto Wunderlich in 1903. Mr. Wunderlich also preceded her in death in 1926. Two sons also preceded her in death; they were Otto and Hilmar Wunderlich. She is survived by a son, Alfred R. Wunderlich of Fredericksburg: five daughters--Mrs. Norma Beyer, Mrs. Anita Zitelman, Mrs. Herman (Olga) Reus, Mrs. William (Leona) Honig, and Mrs. Edwin (Lydia) Bohnenfalk, all of Hondo; and a brother, Clemens Pietsch, of Yoakum.
Other survivors include 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Wunderlich was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hondo.
Funeral services were conducted on August 11 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo, with pastor Rev. A.M. Hannemann officiating.
Interment was in the City Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Pallbearers were William Reus, James Honig, Weldon Honig, Marvin Beyer, Raymond Beyer and Raymondf Raute. Funeral arrangements were by Guinn-Horger Funeral Home, Hondo.
