LYONS - John W. Marshall, 91, died March 26, 1986, at Lyons District Hospital. Born Aug. 27, 1894, at Uniontown, Ark., he married Pearl Sutton July 13, 1917, at Sallisau, Okla. She died March 13, 1975. He later married Viola Eberhardt Oct. 11, 1975, at Lyons. He was an employee for the Frisco Railroad, and was a resident of Lyons since 1930.
He was a member of the Lyons Nazarene Church.
Survivors: wife, of the home; sons, the Rev. Paul Marshall, Springfield, Mo., the Rev. Howard Marshall, Kansas City, Kan.; stepsons, Charles Eberhardt, Freemont, Ohio, Walter Eberhardt, Hutchinson, Chester Eberhardt, Bellflower, Calif.; daughters, Eva Battershell, Sterling, Marcille Hubbard, Mount Vernon, S.D.; stepdaughters, Doris Hendrickson, Lyons, Pat Cruth, Anthony; 28 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; and three greatgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Mike Edwards. Burial will be at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorials may go to the church.
