William "Tom" Coston, a Morton area resident
for more than 69 years, died Nov. 20, 1979, in
Centralia. Funeral services will be Saturday,
Nov. 24, at the Brown Mortuary chapel, at 1 p.m.
Mr Coston was born in Texas on Nov. 19, 1902.
He was a self-employed logger and trucker and ran his own logging firm based in Morton. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was well-known for his gardens.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas(Lila) Nicholson, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; two sons, William Thomas, Jr. and John Richard, both of Morton; two sisters, Mrs. Leola Douglas, Tacoma, and Mrs. William (Ethel) Hunter, Medford, Ore.; one brother Dick 'Carl' Coston, Morton; and two grandchildren.
